long time, no blogging.

Time to blog..  right now are me and my group working with a module called 'concept and development' but before i tell you all fantastic readers about that i'm going to write some lines about what i have been up to since my last post here.

After the module 'communication skills' did we start with a module called 'experience tchnology' where the assignment was to create some kind of new and innovative product/concept whitin digital media. We were divided in groups and my group was me, jenny, andreas and kalle. Each group got some technuiqe thing and my group got a pack af different sensors called phidgets.

We used 6 ir-sensors and created a board were we placed the sensors behind and placed the the board on the floor. Each sensor was connected to a specifik sound through flash and actionscript3. 

Our product gave the user the chance to create own music and the only thing that needed to be used was the hands because we had those ir-sensors on the other side of the board.

At the end of this module we all went to stockholm for an exhibition wich was nice. There was many visitors, both from agencies and public.

Right now are we as i sayed working with a module called 'concept and development' where we all have to come up with a new concept within digital media but focus more on the development and how we should to do bring this out to the possible users.

End of the module

This module wich is called communication skills is now done and i think that i hav learned pretty much about myself and how you ccan improve you communication skills. There has been a couple of good lectures. One was by two guys from a company called 370 grader and i think that one was good. It was about to come up with good ideas and to later on work with them. We also worked for a real client from brazil.

Another lecture was by Daniel Wennermark Rosell. That one was about how to feel good and live a life that you actually like. He talked about so much things and it was good.

Next module is called experience technology and starts in this monday. That is a big module and i hope it's also fun.

First week is done

Yes. The first week of this second module wich totally is two weeks is now done. I think the week was very interesting and i learned a lot about presentations and to communicate in other ways then just to speak. We had a really good lecture, Johan Westermark who teached us a lot of good things to know when you are about to present something. He also teached us some tips on how to do a good presentation.

Overall it was a very intersting week and i'm now looking forward to the next week wich is about to come up with good ideas. We are also going to have a lecture in that week i think.

Now i have a blog. This blog is going to be about my time at the school Hyper Island.

Hyper Island

Well.. I have just for like three or four weeks ago started with my studies in Digital media at the school Hyper Island which is located in a pretty small city called Karlskrona. Im going to study here for two years and i have liked it so far. It have been many good lectures that we have listened to. For example was Paul Collins from the swedish agancy Åkestam holst here and spoked about the industry. A very good lecture!

Right now are me and my group in the middle of the fist module which is called Information society and we are kind of working with trendspotting in the media-industry.(NewLine)(NewLine)In this tuesday a guy from the agency Perfect fools is coming to school for a lecture. I am really looking forward to that.

Nice day at Hyper

Today has been a nice day. We hade a lecture by Magnus Forsbrand about the mobile-industry wich i think was pretty interesting even if i'm not so interested in just mobiles. But he talked about much things around it and he got me interestet, thats good!

The work with the first module have continued today and we have worked with our presentation that we are going to show for the other students in this thursday.

Tomorrow is a really nice day to i think. We have to good lectures. One is by Tony Högkvist who works at the swedish agency Perfect fools. The other one is by Jonathan Briggs who is the founder of Hyper Island.

I'm really looking forward to that. Ciao!

Time to write something

Today has been a pretty interesting day in some different ways. In this morning we had a lecture by Tony Högkvist from the agency Perfect fools wich just was totally awsome. He talket much about different projects that they had done through the years at the agency. He got me really inspired and i really listened to what he said about different things cause he had so much good things to say i think.

We also had another lecture today. That one was with Jonathan Briggs wich is one of the three founders of Hyper Island. He talket about how they came up with the idea to start this school and also very much about he¥s own agency called the other media.

Working on our presentation..

Right now me and some of my groupmates are at Mathias place and working on our prpesentation that we are going to to have tomorrow. I hope it will be good.

Back at the cell again

I just came back to school now and soon me and my group are going to continue with our work with the presentation for tomorrow. It's almost done but we still have a fue things left to do with it.

Presentation

I just came home from Playbar. I was there with some people from my class and it was good. Today we all had our presentations about this first module wich is about trendspotting in the media-industry. I think that the presentation that my group did was pretty nice. We all did wath we supposed to do and we also got som nice feedback from the other students and also from the people that where invited from the industry.

Next week is the motion-week and i'm really looking forward to that!

Home for lunch

I just camee home from school to have some lunch and then go back to the lecture wich is about motion. Well.. the whole week is about motion. This is the motionweek and hopefully i am going to learn some nice things in After Effects wich is the program that we are going to use.

I think this week are going to be a long one with much new things... Time to go back to Hyper.

Home from school

I just came hom from Hyper.. These two first days of the motionweek has been very, very interesting and i have learnd so much. Today has me and my group been working on our first motionproject for the whole day, and night as well.

Have to sleep now. Tomorrow is a new day!

New module

This is the second day of our second module at Hyper Island. This module is called communication skills and as you probably know it is about to improve our skills when it comes to communicating and presenting. This week is also Johan Westermark at school wich is a lecure, actor and director. He is here for some lectures and to help us improve our skills.

Last week was the motionweek wich was very interesting. It was very late nights for the whole week and i think that i learned pretty much about how motiongraphics works and what you are able to to with it.

A big thank you to Emil and Even wich both where in school fot the whole week and learnet us alot with their lectures. They where aslo in school in the late nights just to help us wich was awsome.
